When it comes to an important email you definitely don’t want to lose, or a sender whose emails are your top priority while dealing with Inbox, Spark has it covered. This reading will discuss what the Pin and Priority features are and how to use them.
Pin
Pinning a message moves it to the Pins section so it's easy to find later. It’s up to you to decide where this section would be: on the sidebar or right in your Inbox (grouped like Newsletters and Notifications). To set pins according to your preferences, do the following:
- Open Spark Desktop > Select Settings.
- Switch to the Inbox section > Email Groups > Pinned.
- Select the preferred option.
How to Pin an email
Open Spark Desktop and do any of the following:
- hover over the needed email in your Inbox and press D.
- hover over the needed email in your Inbox and click the pin
button.
- when the needed email is opened, press D or click the pin
button at the top right.
To unpin an email, follow the same steps.
Priority setting
Marking important senders or threads as Priority makes new messages from them appear on top of your Inbox. Emails from priority senders and threads marked as a Priority are indicated by thissymbol and are highlighted with light orange.
How to mark a sender as Priority
Open Spark Desktop and do any of the following:
- hover over the needed email in your Inbox and press I.
- hover over the needed email in your Inbox and click the priority
button.
- when the email is opened, press I or click the priority
button at the top right.
To remove a Priority mark, follow the same steps.
Set how many Priority emails are shown at the top
- Open Spark Desktop > Select Settings.
- Switch to the Inbox section > Priority.
- Select the preferred option.
