+AI Translate and +AI Summary features in Spark can significantly boost productivity and communication. +AI Translate helps users instantly understand and respond to emails in different languages, breaking down language barriers. Meanwhile, +AI Summary allows users to quickly grasp the key points of long emails, saving time and helping them stay focused on what matters most.
+AI Summary
+AI Summary allows reading large threads faster.
- Open the thread you want to summarize.
- Click the +AI button on the Toolbar to Generate +AI Summary.
- Select from one of the following options:
Short - To generate a summary of 1-2 sentences.
Detailed - Generate a detailed summary of a few paragraphs.
Action points - Display summary in Action points along with Action items. - Press Auto-detected in the Language section to select the default language for Summarization.
- Open the thread you want to summarize.
- Click the +AI button on the Toolbar to Generate +AI Summary.
- Select from one of the following options:

Note: Selecting the language for Summarization is currently available for Spark Desktop and iOS versions. The Android version will be released later.

- Select from one of the following Summary Types:

Action Points - Display summary in Action points along with Action items. - Tap the suggested language in the Language section to select the default language for Summarization.
Tip: To summarize new emails from the same sender automatically, tick the option Always summarize emails from in the Generate +AI Summary window.
+AI Translate
Translate thread or email
- Open the thread you want to translate.
- Click the +AI button on the Toolbar > Translate.
- Click “To” Language option and choose the preferred translation language.
- Tick Always Translate from … to auto-translate all emails written in this language upon opening.
- Press Translate.
- To revert changes to the thread, click the +AI button on the Toolbar > Translate > Show Original. Alternatively, press CMD + Z.
Note: To disable translation of a specific language, select Never Translate from option.
- To translate a single email, press the ‘...’ icon next to the needed email to open Command Center > Translate. Alternatively, press on the +AI Translate suggestion on the top left of the message.
- To revert changes to a message, press the +AI Translate suggestion settings section > Show Original.
- Open the thread you want to translate.
- Click the +AI button on the Toolbar > Translate.
- Click “To” Language option and choose the preferred translation language.
- Tick Always Translate from … to auto-translate all emails written in this language upon opening.
- Press Translate.

Translate text in Composer
- Start composing an email > Click the Translate icon
in the +AI menu > Select the preferred language. - To translate part of the text, select the needed text > Click the +AI button on the Formatting toolbar > Click the Translate
icon > Select the needed text. - To revert changes, press CTRL + Z, and the translations will be saved in +AI History section.
