A tracking pixel, also known as a web beacon or a tracking tag, is a small transparent image (often a GIF) embedded in an email. When you open an email, this pixel is loaded from the server, and the server reports that the email has been opened. We may use the Braze service (and Braze uses pixels) to collect general statistics for our marketing campaigns, such as the opening rate of our emails, to understand whether our emails were helpful for you. We never sell or otherwise share these statistics with third parties, except for our affiliates and subcontractors.
You may disable the pixels from loading in the settings of your email service provider. By doing so, you will prevent the email senders from knowing whether you read their emails. Be aware that most browsers only allow for disabling all the pixels and not for particular email senders.
We may use the Braze service links to collect metrics on links we add in our emails. For example, we may add a link to a website that, upon clicking on it, will lead you to the website with a specific offer or detailed information about a feature or product.
Typically, these links will only record information when you click on them. Therefore, if you don’t want to participate in the collection of metrics, just avoid clicking the in-email links.
If there are any material changes to this Policy, you will be notified by the posting of a prominent notice on our Website prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our Cookies Policy. Your continued use of the Website constitutes your acknowledgement of and agreement to be bound by such changes to this Cookies Policy. Your only remedy, if you do not accept the terms of this Cookies Policy, is to discontinue the use of and access to the Website.
If you have any questions regarding this Policy or how we use cookies, you may contact us by e-mailing: dpo@sparkmailapp.com.
