Microsoft OneNote is an easy-to-use note-taking and information management program that helps users capture ideas and information in different digital formats. With Spark & OneNote integration, it’s easy to turn emails into notes right from the app - learn how to do it below.
Tip: To connect OneNote to Spark, install OneNote App on your device first.
Connect OneNote to Spark
- Open Spark Settings.
- Integrations.
- Select OneNote > Connect.

- Open the email needed.
- Click ⌘K to open Command Center.
- Select Save to… option.
- Connect OneNote.
- Open Spark Settings.
- Integrations.
- Select OneNote > Connect.
OR
- Open the email needed.
- Click CTRL K to open Command Center.
- Select Save to… option.
- Connect OneNote.
- Open Spark Settings.
- Integrations.
- Select OneNote.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to log into OneNote.
OR
- Open the email needed.
- Tap the More icon.
- Add Service > Select OneNote.
- Tap the menu icon at the top left.
- Open Settings > Services.
- Select OneNote.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to log into OneNote.
OR
- Open an email you wish to export.
- Tap the More icon at the bottom right.
- Add Service > Select OneNote.
Note: Connected Services don't sync between devices. If you want to use OneNote with Spark on several devices, please add this service separately to each of them.
Turn an email into a note
- Open the email needed.
- Click ⌘K to open the Command Center.
- Select Save to… option > OneNote.
- By default, the Subject of the email is offered as the Note’s title. Click on the title to change it.
- Choose export options: Email or PDF. The PDF option creates a PDF copy of the email.
- Select a Notebook and a Section for this Note.
- Add Remark if needed.
- Click Save to OneNote.
- Open the email needed.

Remove a connected integration
- Open Spark Settings.
- Integrations.
- Select OneNote > Disconnect.
- Open Spark Settings.
- Integrations.
- Select OneNote > Disconnect.
- Open Spark Settings.
- Integrations.
- Select OneNote.
- Tap Remove Account.
- Tap the menu icon at the top left.
- Open Settings > Services.
- Select OneNote.
- Tap Remove Account.
