How to enable +AI features in Spark?

Spark +AI is a set of tools available as part of the Spark paid plans, including tools for generating and editing textual content, designed to speed up and simplify your email work with AI. It can help you generate email responses or new emails faster and edit text.

What is Spark +AI?

Spark +AI uses Azure OpenAI integration to understand and generate human-like language. It's like having a personal assistant who can understand what you're saying and help you communicate better.

Spark +AI can generate text in multiple languages.

Tip: Spark +AI works best when you write prompts in English, as the Azure OpenAI model has been more trained for English. The preferred language should be specified in the prompt for using a different language.

How to enable +AI?

By default, Spark +AI is turned off. You can enable it from Spark’s onboarding flow for this feature or directly from Settings. You can disable it in your Settings anytime if needed.

Mac Windows Android iOS

Here are the instructions for Mac:

Open Spark Settings.
Go to Spark +AI.
Enable the toggle.
Set the Tone and Text length under Writing and Replies > Writing Preferences.
To use predefined responses, enable the Quick +AI Replies toggle.
To use translation, enable the Translate emails toggle.

Tap the menu icon at the top left.
Open Settings >Spark +AI.
Enable the Enable Spark +AI toggle.
Set the Tone and Text length under Writing Assistant.
To use predefined responses, enable the Quick +AI Replies toggle.
Enable AI Assistant toggle.

Note: The Spark +AI Settings are not synced across devices, so you may have different feature customizations on each device. By default, Spark +AI uses Formal Tone and Average Text Length.
