If your comments appear as if they were sent from another team member, this usually means you're using someone else's Team account in Spark.
In Spark for Teams, each person should have their own personal Team account. Using another team member's account may cause actions, like comments, assignments, or replies, to be attributed to the wrong person.
How to check which account you're using
- Launch Spark.
- Go to Settings > Teams > Manage Team > Members.
- Then go to Settings > Accounts.
- Compare the two and check whether any account listed under Accounts belongs to another team member.
If you're using someone else's account
- Remove that account from Spark.
- Ask your teammate to share the mailbox with you using Shared Inbox.
By doing this, you'll have access to the same emails without affecting how your comments and actions are attributed.
If you can't remove the account
We understand that in some cases, removing the account isn't an option - for example, if your team is not on the Pro plan and Shared Inbox isn't available.
To fix the issue, the other team member's Team account needs to be reassigned to an email address that no one else on the team is using as their personal account. Please contact us at support@sparkmailapp.com, and we'll help you set this up.
