Reminders on Mac and iOS is a simple and useful app that lets you create to-dos, add a due date, or even a due location. With Spark & Reminders integration, it’s easy to turn emails into reminders right from the app - learn how to do it below.
Connect Reminders to Spark
Tip: To use Reminders in Spark Desktop, ensure that Spark Desktop has access to Reminders in your Privacy & Security Settings on Mac. Currently, Reminders are available on the website Spark Desktop version.
- Open Spark Settings.
- Integrations.
- Select Reminders > Connect.
OR
- Open the email needed.
- Click ⌘K to open Command Center.
- Select Save to… option.
- Connect Reminders.
- Open an email and tap More on the toolbar at the bottom > Add Service.
- Select Reminders.
OR
- Tap the menu icon at the top left.
- Open Settings > Services.
- Tap Add Service and select Reminders.
Note: Connected Services don't sync between devices. If you want to use Reminders with Spark on several devices, please add this service separately to each of them.
Turn an email into a Reminder
- Open the email needed.
- Click ⌘K to open the Command Center.
- Select Save to… option > Reminders.
- By default, the Subject of the email is offered as the card’s title. Click on the title to change it.
- Choose export options: Back Link or Email.
- Select the Remind Me and the List for this reminder.
- Click Save to Reminders.
- Open the email needed.
- Tap More on the toolbar at the bottom and select Reminders.
- By default, the Subject of the email is offered as a title of the reminder. Tap at the title to change it.
- Choose export options: Link or Email.
- Set a reminder and tap Save at the top right.
Note: You need to have at least one List to save an email from Spark to Reminders.
Remove a connected integration
- Open Spark Settings.
- Integrations.
- Select Reminders > Disconnect.
- Tap the menu icon at the top left.
- Open Settings > Services > Reminders.
- Tap Remove Account.
