Do more as a team with Slack Integration and Microsoft Shared Inboxes

We’ve got exciting updates on Spark for Desktop! Two of the most requested tools for team collaboration have just arrived — Slack integration and Shared Inboxes for Microsoft 365 and Outlook accounts.

Share emails with colleagues in Slack

Sometimes, emails need wider visibility beyond your inbox. With the new Slack integration, you can send emails straight into team channels or direct messages, while keeping colleagues aligned by adding context and next steps.

To export an email to Slack, open Spark Desktop > Settings > Integrations > Slack to connect your workspace. Then open the email you want to share with your team, and click CMD + K (on Mac) or CTRL + K (on Windows) > Export to Slack.

Please note that Spark will create a shareable email link after you Send to Slack. You can manage access to the email preview (it's available to anyone with a link, just you, or members of the team) and choose the destination in Slack (channel or direct message).

Shared Inboxes for Microsoft 365 and Outlook

Managing a shared email address in a team shouldn’t be a hassle. With Spark, you can now not only share Google/Gmail and Google Workspace email addresses, but also Microsoft 365 and Outlook accounts with your team.

The benefits of Shared Accounts in Spark mean you can share access securely — no password juggling or awkward workarounds. You can collaborate seamlessly as a team when managing customer or project emails. Discuss emails, write drafts together, and check updates across multiple devices. Learn more about Shared Accounts.

These updates come straight from feedback from Spark for Teams users who rely on Spark every day to coordinate and stay productive. Both features are designed to make teamwork around email more effortless.
