Spark introduces iOS 18 updates

Once you update to the latest versions of iOS and the Spark app, you'll be able to add Spark’s main actions into your iPhone’s Control Center, Home Screen, and Lock Screen for faster, more efficient access. Enjoy a sleek new dark and tinted look for the app icon, and manage your emails while on the go using the most natural interface available - your voice.

New look for Spark’s icon 

With iOS 18, Spark’s app icon appears even sleeker, offering you more personalization options. You can choose between light, dark, or tinted styles to match your overall device theme or make the app icon larger for better visibility. This added flexibility allows you to create the perfect visual experience, improving both Spark’s accessibility and aesthetic. How to change Spark’s Icon:

1. Long-press the Home Screen.
2. Tap the Edit button in the upper left corner.
3. Tap on Customize to adjust the app icons to your liking.

Add Spark actions from the Control Center

iOS 18 introduces a redesigned Control Center, allowing you to place core Spark actions at your fingertips. Spark users can now access the Control Center's updated Controls Gallery, where you can add actions like Compose Email, Open Search, Open Calendar, and Open Attachments. With iOS 18’s intuitive interface and interactive widgets, Spark’s core functions are even more accessible to use for daily email management. How to add Spark actions from the Control Center:

1. Swipe down on the Home Screen to open the Control Center.
2. Long press the screen.
3. Tap ‘Add a Control,’ and search for Spark to choose and set its controls for fast access.
4. You can also rearrange your controls to place Spark actions where you need them most.

Add Spark actions to your Lock Screen

With iOS 18, you can further enhance your experience by replacing Lock Screen controls with Spark’s essential actions for faster access. On iPhone 15 Pro and all iPhone 16 models, you can also customize the Action button on the side of the phone for your preferred Spark controls - such as composing a new email or viewing attachments. This level of customization lets you prioritize your most-used actions, streamlining email management while on the go. How to add Spark actions to your Lock Screen:

1. Long press the Lock Screen.
2. Tap the ‘Customize’ button.
3. Choose Lock Screen.
4. Tap the control button to add or replace it with Spark's control.

Command Spark with Siri (coming with Apple Intelligence)

iOS 18 empowers Siri with Apple Intelligence, which enhances how you interact with Spark. You can do more than execute a predefined task, by using voice commands to create, search, and manage emails naturally. Beyond actions like "Open Search" - you will be able to search for specific emails, write to specific contacts, and execute email actions through voice commands without needing to open the app.  For example, ask Siri to draft a reply to your latest email, compose a new message to a specific contact, or search your inbox for flight details or other important information - all hands-free. These additional actions will become available as Apple Intelligence is rolled out globally.
