Spark is getting a bold visual makeover in iOS 26 with the debut of Liquid Glass - a cutting-edge design aesthetic that brings a translucent edge to your inbox. The Liquid Glass effect transforms the Spark interface with translucent toolbars and subtly blurred backdrops.
Within the inbox, the collapsible Liquid Glass toolbars give messages maximum focus when scrolling. A glassy contextual menu replaces the previous action sheet, offering a sleeker and faster way to access quick replies, integrations, and other actions.

With iOS 26, navigating your inbox becomes more intuitive and comfortable. Spark is updating the layout for key actions by moving the Search and Calendar buttons to the bottom of the inbox — right across from the option to start a new email. This repositioning creates a unified control strip that aligns essential functions within thumb’s reach for one-handed ease, and supports a more ergonomic flow between reading, writing, and scheduling.
The Search experience has also been streamlined for usability. The Search field now opens directly above the keyboard, offering a more efficient and familiar way to find emails, senders, and attachments. The clearer separation between controls and content enables users to focus on important emails without distraction.
