How to Add Gmail Email to Mac
- If you haven’t already, download and install Spark mail app on your Mac to get started. If you’re already using Spark and want to add a Gmail account, follow these instructions here instead.
- Launch Spark for Mac
- On the intro screen, click on the Continue with Google button to proceed.
- You will be taken to the browser to sign in to your Gmail account. Sign in with the email address and password of your Gmail account. If you're already signed in, you will be asked to choose an account.
- On the next screen, click on the ‘Allow’ button to grant Spark access to your email account, so you can use your Gmail email within Spark.
That’s it! There are no Settings to configure and no servers to specify. Just sign into your Gmail account and start using Spark for Mac.
How to Add Gmail Email to Spark for Mac
If you are already using Spark Mail app on your Mac and want to add your Gmail account, simply follow these steps.
- Launch Spark for Mac
- At the top left of your screen, click on “Spark Desktop" > “Add an account”. Alternatively, you can go to Spark's Preferences > Accounts and click on the Add Account button there.
- Click on the “Continue with Google” button.
- You will be taken to the browser to sign in to your Gmail account. Sign in with the email address and password of your Gmail account. If you're already signed in, you will be asked to choose an account.
- Choose the account you want to use with Spark, then click on the 'Allow' button as shown below.
That’s it! Spark will automatically add your Gmail email account on Mac and all your emails will be available to view on your Mac.
