OneNote & Spark integration

Microsoft OneNote is an easy-to-use note-taking and information management program that helps users capture ideas and information in different digital formats. With Spark & OneNote integration it’s easy to turn emails into notes right from the app - learn how to do it below.

Connect OneNote to Spark

  1. Open an email and click More on the toolbar at the top > Add Service.
  2. Select OneNote and click Connect.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to log in.

Or:

  1. Click Spark at the top left of your screen.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Go to the Services tab.
  4. Choose OneNote and click Connect.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to log in.
  1. Open an email and tap More  on the toolbar at the bottom > Add Service.
  2. Select OneNote and follow the onscreen instructions to log in.

Or:

  1. Tap the menu icon  at the top left.
  2. Open Settings > Services.
  3. Tap Add Service and select OneNote.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to log in.

Note: Connected Services don't sync between devices. If you want to use OneNote with Spark on several devices, please add this service separately to each of them.

Turn an email into a task

  1. Open the email needed.
  2. Click More on the toolbar at the top and select OneNote.
  3. By default, the Subject of the email is offered as the card’s title. Click on the title to change it.
  4. Choose export options: an Email or PDF. The first option will export the body of the email and the second one will add a PDF copy to the note.
  5. Tick ‘include attachment’ if needed.
  6. Select the Notebook and Section for this note.
  7. Optionally, Add remark. It will appear under the title of the note.
  8. Click Save at the top right.

  5. Select the Notebook and List for this note.
  6. Tap Save at the top right.

Remove a connected service

  1. Click Spark at the top left of your screen.
  2. Select Preferences > Services.
  3. Under Connected Services, click OneNote.
  4. Select Log Out at the bottom right.

  2. Open Settings > Services > OneNote.
  3. Tap Remove Account.
