Connect the Zoom Productivity App to Spark

Spark allows you and your team to join Zoom meetings right from its built-in calendar. Create an event, add a Conference Call and when the time has come, join the meeting without even leaving Spark.

Prerequisites

Integration with Zoom is available in Spark version 2.5.6 or later on mac OS and iOS. If Spark hasn’t updated automatically, please open the App Store app > type “Spark” in the search field > tap Update.

Connect Zoom to Spark

  1. Click Spark at the top left of your screen.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Go to the Services tab.
  4. Choose Zoom and click Connect.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to log in.

Or:

  1. Open the Calendar section on the sidebar.
  2. Click the plus icon at the top left.
  3. Type a short event description and press Enter.
  4. Choose Add Conference Call.
  5. Select Zoom and follow the onscreen instructions to log in.
  1. Tap the menu icon  at the top left.
  2. Open Settings > Services.
  3. Tap Add Service and select Zoom.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to log in.

Or:

  1. Launch Spark and select the Calendar widget  at the top right of the Inbox.
  2. Tap the blue plus icon at the bottom right.
  3. Type an event description and tap Done.
  4. Choose Add Call .
  5. Select Zoom and follow the onscreen instructions to log in.

Note: Connected Services don't sync between devices. If you want to use Zoom with Spark on several devices, please add this service separately to each of them.


Create an event with a Conference Call

  1. Open the Calendar section on the sidebar.
  2. Click the plus icon at the top left.
  3. Type a short event description and press Enter.
  4. In the Event Editing dialog, click Add Attendee and enter the email addresses of people you want to invite.
  5. Click Add Conference Call and select Zoom.
  6. Make sure all the needed settings of the dialog are finished and click Send at the bottom. Spark will save the event and send the invitations.
  1. Launch Spark and select the Calendar widget  at the top right of the Inbox.
  2. Select the blue plus icon at the bottom right.

  4. Tap Add Call  and select Zoom.
  5. Make sure all the needed settings are finished and tap Save at the top right.
  6. In a pop-up menu, tap Send to invite the added people to the meeting.

Add a Conference Call to an existing future event

  1. Open the Calendar section on the sidebar.
  2. Click an event you want to add a Conference Call to.
  3. Click Edit at the top right of the dialog.
  4. Click Add Attendee and enter the email addresses of people you want to invite.
  5. Click Add Conference Call and select Zoom.
  6. Make sure all the needed settings of the dialog are finished and click Send at the bottom. Spark will save the changes and send the invitations.
  1. Launch Spark and select the Calendar widget  at the top right of the Inbox.
  2. Tap at an event you want to add a Conference Call to.
  3. Tap Add Call  and select Zoom.
  4. Tap Save at the top right.
  5. In a pop-up menu, tap Send to invite added people to the meeting.

Join the Zoom meeting through Spark

  1. Open the Calendar section on the sidebar.
  2. Click an event needed and follow the link.
  1. Launch Spark and select the Calendar widget  at the top right of the Inbox.
  2. Tap at an event needed and follow the link.

Remove a connected service

  1. Click Spark at the top left of your screen.
  2. Select Preferences > Services.
  3. Under Connected Services, click Zoom.
  4. Select Log Out at the bottom right.

  2. Open Settings > Services > Zoom.
  3. Tap Remove Account.

Troubleshooting

If you’re experiencing any issues with Zoom integration in Spark, please make sure you have Spark version 2.5.6 or later installed. Then try to log out and log in back to Zoom through Spark by removing service and connecting it again.
